“Connecting the world in one city”

Hello! Living outside one’s home country holds both expected and unexpected challenges. To feel “at home” in Poland we might have to adjust to the climate, new customs, a new language and lifestyle differences. These adaptations and adjustments can be stressful at times.

The IWG, founded in 1982, is a group of international women based in Warsaw that are here to offer support through social and cultural events. Our goal is to be a part of the greater community while learning about and exploring Poland. Our group is non-political, non-religious, non-commercial and open to all nationalities. Currently we have members from 40 nationalities.

For many, IWG is a miraculous connection that they create home away from home.

Staying busy…exploring new places…meeting new people. Our aim is to support the new members of our community while they work out the complexities of living in Warsaw. Whether you will stay here for couple of months or years, you will be able to create many unforgettable memories and lasting friendships. It is a place to make new friends and develop a comfortable support system. We are here to help!

The International Women’s Group of Warsaw welcomes your questions and invites you to develop a network of friends that will help make your stay in Warsaw one of your fondest memories. Join us today!
